If you notice that your shoes have lost their Shine and color, but are still intact and strong, you do not need to immediately run to the store to buy a new one. This is not practical and wasteful. There are seven simple ways to help you quickly “reanimate” your favorite things and give them a “second life”. At the same time, you will save not only money, but also time and nerves (sometimes it is difficult to choose quickly the right style, size, style, etc., and this is infuriating as hell).
How to quickly restore shoes
To restore the whiteness of the sole, use toothpaste. Apply a little paste to an old toothbrush and brush over the sole. Done! The sole of your shoes has become perfectly white again!
Patent leather shoes will be as good as new if you use regular vaseline. Apply a little vaseline on a cotton cloth or cotton pad and wipe your shoes – this way you will return them to their original Shine.
When salt stains begin to appear on leather shoes, you need to wipe the contaminated areas with a cloth, moistened in a solution with lemon juice (2 tablespoons of lemon juice per glass of water). Then carefully wipe your shoes with a dry clean cloth. Salt stains will disappear for a while.
To get rid of the unpleasant smell of shoes, ordinary soda will help us. Pour 2 tablespoons of baking soda into a cloth bag and put inside the shoes overnight. In the morning, the unpleasant smell will disappear without a trace.
Dirty spots on suede boots can be removed with an ordinary nail file. To do this, first try to remove as much dirt as possible with a dry cloth, and then gently move the nail file over these contaminated areas. It is not recommended to RUB too hard, otherwise you can damage the suede.
If your Shoe has stopped working lightning (jammed), then in this case you need to wipe the “teeth” with wax (a small wax candle will do, which you need to warm up slightly in your hands) and the lightning will go like butter!
If your shoes are too tight, but you still really want to wear them, we recommend using a hair dryer. Put a thick sock on your foot and then try to put on shoes. Direct the hot air flow to the shoes and heat them for 3-5 minutes. Then take a break. As soon as the shoes cool down, repeat the procedure. This way, you can achieve some increase in the size of your shoes. This method can not be applied only to shoes made of suede.
